Named after the iconic "Sainte Marie" lighthouse which marks the Southern entrance to the Old Port of Marseille, from where 19th century Salcombe Fruit Schooners would load citrus fruits and herbs bound for England's ports. "Rose Sainte Marie" is inspired by the aromas, flavours and lifestyle of the South of France and is a celebration of adventure, colour, freshness and joy; capturing the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean coast.

Rose Sainte Marie is a delicate, fresh and truly exquisite gin, reminiscent of a balmy summer's evening sat outside on the terrace of your favourite restaurant, watching the world go by. It can be enjoyed from the beginning to the end of a meal, as an aperitif or digestif, on the beach or beside the pool, but always when you need a little Mediterranean sunshine in your life.

Inspired by the coastal vitality of Salcombe and its ship building heritage, the protection of the oceans is very important to Salcombe. The team at Salcombe Distilling Company all share a common desire to help protect and maintain the precious ocean environment that inspires and influences everything we do.

With this at the forefront of their thought process, they have been working on meaningful initiatives to ensure that they minimise impact on the environment whilst making the most positive contribution they possibly can to improve the health and wellbeing of our oceans.

Their mission is to have a positive impact on the ocean and the life it supports by vigorously reducing carbon footprint and supporting meaningful initiatives that rewild our oceans and sequester carbon. That’s why we donate 1% of every bottle sold to the Marine Conservation Society to help protect and regenerate precious ocean habitats.
