Since 1843, six generations of the Krug family have specialised in producing only prestige cuvée Champagnes with a total dedication to quality. Using traditional methods, the House of Krug makes no compromise while making their Champagnes. Alone among champagne houses, Krug still ferments all of its wines in small oak casks, allowing them to develop supremely rich and complex aromas. Every bottle remains in the cellars at Reims for at least 6 years. Typically, Krug Grande Cuvée is blended from as many as 50 wines from three grape varieties, 20 to 25 growths, and six to ten different years. Krug Grande Cuvée is the ultimate expression of the Krug style.

While this champagne is often known as a celebrity favourite, it has excellent overall balance and appealing flavours made from 66% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay, 15% Reserva wine. A rich gold mousse, voluptuous bouquet of baked brioche shows plenty of fullness and structure.
