Case Contents:

Pounamu Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 2017

Pounamu is a single vineyard Sauvignon that offers all the key characteristics of the Marlborough region. Fresh herbaceous and tropical fruit characters burst from the glass, leading to a mouth-watering, clean finish.

Vesevo, Falanghina 2019

Intense aromas of ripe green apples, honeysuckle and a touch of spice. On the palate it is medium bodied with good fruit intensity and freshness, well balanced with persistent length. A lovely example of Falanghina from Campania, in Southern Italy.

Domaine de St Cyrgues, Costieres de Nimes Blanc 2019

A textural blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Viognier from Costieres de Nimes. On the palate it has succulent flavours of ripe apricots, pulped pears, green herbs and lime leaves along with the characteristic Southern Rhone "oily" mouth-feel. Try this with fruits de mer, grilled lemon sole and even young Roquefort.

AA Badenhorst, Secateurs Chenin Blanc 2019, South Africa

A rich and concentrated Chenin Blanc from very old vines, un-irrigated and farmed as organically as possible. Flavours of ripe apples and honey and a creamy texture give the wine richness and weight whilst retaining the thrillingly zippy tang of Chenin's acid backbone. It will cope beautifully with roast pork or roast chicken and would do a rich fish pie serious justice.

Tabali, Pedrogoso Gran Reserva Viognier 2017, Chile

Wonderfully aromatic, with citrus and floral notes. The palate is dry, round and fruit driven. Citrus fruit, apricot and pear mingle with gentle acidity to make a nicely balanced and elegant wine. Will stand up to rich and elegant seafood, such as langoustines, but also works well with Thai and other Asian cuisine.

Berton Vineyards, Foundstone Unoaked Chardonnay 2019, Australia

A really good value Aussie unoaked Chardonnay. Nice rounded body with generous ripe citrus and stone fruits. A touch of butterscotch from the lees but lots of fresh and crisp cleansing acidity.
