Case Contents:

Pot a Cab Sav, Continental Platter 2019

The Pot a Cab Sav is 100% Margaret River biodynamically-farmed fruit on ironstone soil. The nose is appealing, flaunting aromatics of bell pepper and peppercorn and flavours of coffee, blueberry and dark chocolate.

Tabali Pedrogrosso Carmenere Gran Reserva 2017

Deep dark red in colour with an elegant complex nose, plenty of spice, black fruit, capsicum and violets... think black forest gateau! With smooth tannins on the palate there is perfect integration between oak and fruit, followed by a long and elegant finish.

Adega Mengoba, Brezo Mencia 2018

Gregory Perez's delicious Mencia from Bierzo has a soft, velvety texture with ripe red and dark fruit flavours lifted by Mencia's brisk acidity. A small amount of Garnacha Tintorera (aka Alicante Bouschet, once widely planted here) gives the wine its more generous, round feel.

Edoardo Miroglio, Soli Pinot Noir 2016, Bulgaria

JEdoardo Miroglio, an Italian textile magnate, first came to Thrace in southeast Bulgaria to sell fabrics and set up his own textile and wool factory in Sliven. As his family originated from Alba in Piedmont, where they own two wineries, it seemed natural for him to explore the local Bulgarian terroirs. He saw potential in the Thracian Lowland's terroir and climate with its diurnal temperatures, cooling winds from the mountains in the north and warm dry summers suitable for organic viticulture, and in 1999 he set up his new winery. It would be hard to imagine a better value Pinot Noir than Edoardo Miroglio's 'Soli'. Extremely pretty ripe fruit character and delicate texture combine with genuine complexity.

Beaujolais Village, Andre Colonge 2018

Top quality gamay grapes from one of the highest profile Cru Villages, showing vibrant cherry fruit and refreshing acidity from a very consistent producer.

Magnifico Rosso Fuoco, Primitivo di Manduria 2018

This Primitivo di Manduria is inky and full-bodied, with luscious, ripe dark fruits, complemented by spice notes from maturation in American and French oak. This is a gorgeous wine which is incredibly moreish and boasts a long, satisfying finish.
