Aged in new French oak for 5 months. Vibrant with lifted aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit and white flowers with hints of sweet oak and patisserie. Broad with a silky texture, it is very persistent with a long fruity finish. Very versatile, it is perfect with any meal from fish and foie gras to white meat, poultry and mature cheeses.
-
Bodegas Montecillo, Crianza Rioja 2018 – 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha
Aged in old American oak for 18 months. Full of ripe red cherry, hints of strawberry jam with a sweet oakiness through coconut aromas, vanilla millefeuille and silky tannins. Great with tapas and charcuterie or with more substantial meals like stews or lean meats.
-
Bodegas Montecillo, 22 Barricas Rioja Gran Reserva 2011 – 50% Tempranillo, 30% Graciano, 15% Garnacha, 5% Mazuelo
Aged for 32 months in new French oak and a minimum of 4 years in bottle, the wine is robust and deliciously smooth with a very long finish. Bright red fruit and a subtle toasty oak with cloves and black tea. The palate is super-seductive with nice acidity and smooth tannins. One of Rioja's very best Gran Reservas.
-
Leza Garcia, Rioja Crianza Tinto Familia 2016 – 100% Tempranillo
Aged in new American oak barrels for 14 months. Ripe, soft and juicy with sweet vanilla and cedar wood. There is plenty of spice and some warmth, leading to super soft grainy well-integrated oak on the end. Sophisticated, balanced, fresh and long finish.
-
Leza Garcia, Rioja Reserva 2017 – 90% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha
Aged in American and French oak barrels for at least 24 months and in bottle for 12 more months. Savoury notes, black fruits, blackcurrant leaf and cherries. Rounded and soft with plenty of freshness – a signature of Leza Garcia's wines. Its long, warm finish with spice and a hint of earthiness give us a lovely autumny, wintery feel. A gastronomic wine.
-
Leza Garcia, Rioja, LG de Leza Garcia 2016 – 100% Tempranillo
Aged in new French and American oak barrels for 10 months. A very elegant wine, Leza Garcia's top cuvee has an expressive nose of black fruit and sweet spice, vanilla and toasty oak. Very fresh with red fruit crunch along with some black fruits, nutmeg, vanilla, a hint of cocoa powder and fine-grained tannin.
