Description

Soul Growers aim to emphasise the regional and varietal flavours of their beloved Barossa Valley. They buy directly from 23 grape growers, 19 of whom are 5th or 6th generation. These growers are the soul of their wines and the region. They gently extract and whole bunch ferment and basket-press to produce wines of softness, elegance and a little texture.

The Cellar Dweller has hints of leafiness and cassis but is super smashable, loosey-goosey with just the right acid fix.

In homage to the 1953 Orlando Barossa Cabernet, the team set out to make wines that live and develop in the Cellar. In a day and age of instant gratification the intention is to ensure wines like this can and will reward those of you that love to invest time and patience into your wines. The 2016 Vintage Blend is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 50% Mattchoss Vineyard, Dorrien - 50+yrs old & 50% Limb Vineyard, Seppeltsfield - 20+ yrs old. Maturation was for 18 Months in 40% New French Oak & 60% Old French Oak
