Description

100% Carignan from 58 year old vines in the Maule region -now famous for its wine from this variety. Once dismissed as a poor quality grape, Carignan has been enjoying a rehabilitation around the world thanks in part to these wines from Chile's south. Aged for 18 months in French oak and from a cooler vintage, the wine shows a lovely balance of fresh ripe, cherry and raspberry fruit with soft tannins.
