The vines are 14-35 years old, planted on sandstone and marl soil at 380-420m above sea level.

Organic and minimal intervention.

Andreas Knauss is a young winemaker trained in Austria. The estate was founded by his father in 1995 with only 0.5ha. It is now 18ha, planted with 65% red grapes.
