Lovely ripe raspberry pippiness allied with subtle spice & savoury earthiness are a delight. Serve it very slightly chilled in all seasons but do not decant it, just let the flavours unfurl and evolve in your mouth. A super interesting alternative to village Burgundy.
10 different clones, which were brought here in the 12th century from Burgundy, are used in this wine. 10% is whole bunch fermented and all of it is aged for 10 months in big, old barrels.
