J. J. Corry - The Flintlock Batch 2 Irish Whiskey

A single malt Irish whiskey from Chapel Gate whiskey bonders, all of which was drawn from a trio of bourbon casks that were allowed to rest for 16 years before being cracked open. The name comes from an antique flintlock pistol discovered by the Chapel Gate team when refurbishing their warehouse. Winner of "Best Irish Single Malt above 13 years" at the Irish Whiskey awards in 2018, this expression from JJ Corry is sure not to disappoint. The Flintlock is a blend of three partially disgorged ex bourbon 16 year old single malt casks each specially chosen for their individual flavor profiles. The blend consists of 33.3% of cask No. 11233, 33.3% from Cask No. 11221 and 33.3% Cask No. 11197. Released in November 2018 in a very limited quantity of 400 bottles.
