Aged in one- and two-year-old American oak barrels, this wine gives you sweet oakiness, ripe red cherry, hints of strawberry jam, coconut and vanilla millefeuille draped around a frame of silky tannins and juicy fresh acidity. It goes surprisingly well with tapas but it also expresses itself perfectly alongside more substantial meals, like pulse-based stews, lean meats and charcuterie.

This beauty from one of Portugal's up-and-coming wine regions displays lovely ripe red and black fruits, like red cherry and dark plum, floral notes and hints of tobacco and wet autumn leaves. The soft and round tannins are paired by refreshing acidity. This wine can be enjoyed by itself, or with veal fillet in cream sauce or duck breast with fruity sauces.

Ripe and full-bodied, this wine shows notes of strawberry, raspberry and a little spice. The tannins are round and supple. Serve it with red meat roasts or hard cheeses.

Ripe red fruit and fresh herbs with smoky, leafy overtones, it is an excellent representation of variety and region. Tannins are grippy, but velvety and give a nice chew to this bright and pure wine. Lovely, sweet finish. Give it some air before drinking. Matches well with chicken, veal and roasted meat.

A full flavoured blend of no less than 6 grapes, hence the name Full Fat. Its great texture is heightened by maturing the grapes sur lie in French oak Hogshead barrels for 17 months before bottling. It has a pungent, intricate nose of blueberry, dark cherry, earth and spice layered with lifted berry fruit, there are some cedar tannins, with a spicy, refreshing finish. A seriously good and fun wine.
