BLANK Bottle Mixed Case

Discover critically-acclaimed New Wave South African producer - BLANK Bottle, with this mixed case including three of his amazing cuvees.

BLANK Bottle makes a range of wines changing from year to year depending on what winemaker Pieter H. Walser finds on his explorations through SA vineyards. His operation is unusual because he owns no vineyards and rarely makes the same wine twice, buying grapes from around 60 vineyards all over the Western Cape.

His policy is to barely say anything about the grapes or the blend and he takes a casual approach to more than just the label, saying that the plan behind his winemaking is simply not to think too much about it.

This case contains one bottle of each of the wines listed below.

• BLANK Bottle, Moment of Silence 2020 – Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Viognier

Stunning all-rounder, there is nothing you can fault in this wine. Aromas of candied lemon, cooked apple and mango with a core of minerality. Soft with a lovely ripeness and a fleshy, creamy mouthfeel, which leads to a perfect tangy freshness.

• BLANK Bottle, Master of None 2020 – Grenache, Cinsault, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chenin Blanc

Bright and juicy with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, cherry and delicate earthy and smoky aromas. Amazingly fresh, the finish has a delicious savouriness to it. Can also be served slightly chilled for the perfect summer red.

• BLANK Bottle, Retirement at 65 2019 – Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah

This is a radical red wine with a natural vibe to it – fresh and drinkable. If you like freshness, florals, prettiness and perfume in your wines, then look no further. Very supple palate with juicy blackberries, raspberry leaf, even a little savoury herbal touch. Ideal slightly chilled with bbq and friends.
