Description

Toffee apples on the nose. So bright and lustrous on the palate! Chalky texture and refined acidity on the finish. Medium sweetness and light body. A difficult wine to fit into my drinking schedule but I'm prepared to try to shoehorn it in.. Jancis Robinson (16.5)

Battenfeld-Spanier was set up by the ambitious Oliver Spanier in 1993 and is focussed on producing great dry wines from top Rheinhessen vineyards with minimal intervention. The vineyards are located in the south of Rheinhessen, centred around the villages of Hohen-Sulzen, Nieder-Florsheim and Molsheim.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom and the European Union and all delivery charges for these destinations are enabled in the checkout. We also provide the option to collect from any of our shops.
