Description

The colour is light gold, the nose quite aromatic and one can find concetrated flavours of fruit and flowers and a slight nutty character in the aftertaste, all balanced with a beautiful acicity.

Delivery Information

Profound Savagnin from biodynamically farmed vineyards near Lake Geneva. Dominique Lucas ferments all his wines with native yeasts and adds the bare minimum, in order to capture the pure voice of the wine.

Dominique Lucas was born and brought up in the Burgundy region where his family has owned vines in various parcels all around Pommard, and where five generations of the Lucas family have produced wine. He now runs two wine estates: his family vines in Burgundy, in and around the village of Pommard (which he took over in 2009), and his own domaine in the department of Haute-Savoie which he purchased in 2008, after moving there in 2002.
