Description

This aromatic white is made from the almost extinct Pallagrello Bianco grape that is reminiscent of the beloved Viognier. Precise and elegant with notes of Mirabelle plums, acacia flowers, honey and Mediterranean aromatic herbs. On the palate it is fresh, ample, delicately smooth and particularly savoury.

Vinified and aged in stainless steel, the Riccio Bianco is shows great purity of flavour. On the nose the Riccio Bianco expresses notes of mirabelle plums, acacia flowers, honey and Mediterranean aromatic herbs, while on the palate it is fresh, ample, delicately smooth and particularly savoury. Just like Viognier, it can also show aromas and flavours of peach and apricot. It is rather full-bodied.

Alepa, a producer from the Caserta province in Campania, Italy, is specialised on the production of wines from the rare Parragrello grape. To express the wines' origins, Alepa applies artisanal vinification methods and modern technology. They also produce olive oil.
