Pretty in Pink – Williams Chase Rosé
Posted on April 22 2014
An exciting new addition to our rosé range has just arrived: Williams Chase Luberon rosé from Provence.
Originally known for potato farming, William Chase founded the successful Tyrell’s crisps company. After selling the crisps business he started a distillery making, among other things, potato-based vodka and apple-based gin.
His latest venture is the purchase of Chateau Constantin-Chevalier: a wine-producing estate in the Luberon area of Provence. Here he has produced a fresh, fruity and delicious rosé from a blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Rousanne. Beautifully packaged in an attractive bottle with an unusual glass closure, this wine has summer written all over it!
Perhaps best of all, it’s a fantastic bargain for a rosé of this quality at £15, or £13.50 case price.
