Our People

Shop Manager: Hannah Crossley

Heralding from the northern county of Lancashire, I found my love of wine whilst dotting around the world on my travels. After years working in hospitality, and some other short lived careers along the way, I followed this path blindly and never looked back. I have an intense love of Pinot Noirs of New Zealand and soft spot for Grenache from just about anywhere – but oddly you will always see me drinking white wine!

Assistant Manager: Francesco Marongiu

Originating from sunny Sardinia, Italy, I recall as first memory of wine my grandpa grape-stomping in his back yard with the family united after the harvest. I’ve been travelling and working in few parts of  Europe and US, before landing in London and finding out that I love engaging with customers & finding the perfect bottle for whatever occasion “After people, wines are the characters most capable of discourse” wrote Luigi Veronelli, one of the most influential and unparalleled world’s greatest wine thinkers.

My soft spot is red wine: It can be a luscious cab-sav from US, a lighter grenache based Priorat or  Côte du Rhône, or perhaps some more undiscovered Hungarian Kekfrankos (Cabernet Franc); said that, I felt in love few times with full bodied, rich whites.

Out of work as a true epicurean I also appreciate good food – and cooking – and I am in to art, photography, table tennis and river sports such sailing on dinghies.

Wine Advisor: Alex Robinson

I have been working in the wine industry for five years, having developed a passion for great wines while at university. I am a recent graduate and now holder of the WSET Diploma, and have a soft spot for Italian wines – particularly from Piemonte, as well as anything made from Pinot Noir!
