Mount Brave Cabernet Sauvignon, Mt Veeder, Napa Valley 2012

About this wine

Mount Brave's Cabernet comes from the higher altitude Mount Veeder appellation, known for its elegance and structure. The wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel, before being moved to oak barrels for malolactic and ageing. It spends 19 months in 80% new French oak before bottling without fining or filtration.

'Dark red and black stone fruits, spices, menthol, leather and cedar meld together in the glass. Powerful and ample in the glass, the 2012 possesses remarkable intensity. Big, chewy tannins support the ample finish' - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media, December 2014
