Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune, Bachelet, France 2016

About this wine

Based in the lesser-known appellation of Maranges, young winemaker Bertrand Bachelet makes excellent wines. This is possibly the best value Burgundy we've ever tasted at this level. Fresh, crunchy fruit but no lack of ripeness, lightweight but exuding finesse.
