A blend of the “Chianti” grape Sangiovese, softened with a wollop of ripe Merlot to give a medium bodied cherry and plum scented red with fresh waft of leaf tea on the nose. Very quaffable on its own but perfect with a picnic, or some mushroom ravioli and of course with antipasti too.
