About this wine
Gattinara is a small commune in the Piedmont area of north west Italy. Produced from 100% Nebbiolo like its more famous neighbours Barolo and Barbaresco, this is far better value for money at this level. Notes of truffle, roses and spice characterise this full-bodied, powerful wine that would be a perfect match for slightly more delicate red meat dishes such as fillet steak or lamb.
