Nice aged claret with aromas of walnuts and cigars, and a finely structured palate that could go a few more years. It is easy to neglect the '04 vintage after the hugely successful '05 crop. However, stylistically, they are quite different. This is a classic Bordeaux structured with firm tannins that is entering its prime drinking window.
