Mortlach translates as 'bowl-shaped valley' and was the first legal distillery in the town of Dufftown in the Highlands, which was formerly called Mortlach. This single malt is a deep amber colour and has a smoky, peaty nose with sherry notes. The palate is medium to full and gives a brazil nut and apple finish.
